Talking about the healing point of zazen, Old Dogen said,\u00a0<\/span>\u201c<\/span>\u2026when the baskets and cages are broken, a seated Buddha does not interfere with making a Buddha.\u201d And that is t<\/span><\/span>he main point of the workshop \u2013 to encourage a zazen that is in itself the breaking of the baskets and cages, a zazen free of category, including silent illumination or koan. Just complete doing.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
