This one addresses the theme \u201cHair on Fire,\u201d flowing from this Katagiri story:<\/p>\n

At a sparsely attended introductory session led by Katagiri Roshi, person after person asked about the physical pain of zazen. Roshi took some time to arrange himself, adjusting his <\/span><\/span> <\/span>robes and his sitting cushion. Finally, he cleared his throat and stared at the floor a few feet in front of his cushion. Then Roshi said, \u201cYou won\u2019t know how much pain you\u2019re in until <\/span><\/span> <\/span>you are enlightened.\u201d <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
