She sits serene and open-hearted on the edge with just lotus flowers blooming in her immediate field of vision.<\/p>\n<p>The calligraphy on the top of the image says, \u201cNo Realm Not Manifest,\u201d a reference to a\u00a0the <em>Lotus Sutra\u00a0<\/em>passage, \u201cThe Verse of the Universal Gateway\u201d (Fumonbon ge), that is an essential part of Hakuin\u2019s Rinzai Zen and it is still recited daily in most S\u014dt\u014d training centers in Japan. The full stanza goes like this:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFully endowed with miraculous powers,<br>\nWidely practicing wisdom and skillful means,<br>\nIn every land in all directions,<br>\nIn no realm does Avalokiteshvara not appear.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cmiraculous powers\u201d here refers to simply regarding the cries of the world. Sitting on the edge. Neither retreating nor advancing.<\/p>\n<p>Reminds me of student who is diligently working with the mu k\u014dan. He recently said, \u201cI feel like I\u2019m sitting on a branch, wanting to fly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFly!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Widely practice nondual wisdom and skillful means, help open the eyes of the world, the whole world, with no one left out.
