Also, I\u2019m going to be experimenting with \u201cinternet practice instruction\u201d via Skype video conferencing. The basic idea is to help people that are practicing zazen (or would like to start practice) and don\u2019t have a teacher handy.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve long said that you can\u2019t really practice Zen alone. With the Skype video capacity, I\u2019ll be available to meet with people \u201cscreen to screen.\u201d I don\u2019t think it will be the same, of course, as face to face meeting \u2026 but it still might help people get going or get some feedback on their practice. I will offer it on a \u201cdonation basis\u201d so PayPal would be a way for people to offer something in return.<\/p>\n
We\u2019ll only really know how it works if we try it. And I\u2019m a middle-aged guy willing to play with these new technological capacities.<\/p>\n
