<\/a><\/p>\nFinally my school year is done! I\u2019ve got about 80 hours of work to do between now and August 8th when we go to the BWCA. I\u2019m leery of teachers who say that their top three reasons for becoming teachers are June, July, and August \u2026 but good lord, I love \u2019em. Now I get to settle in at home with my kids and Bodhi, the true Zen dog.<\/p>\n
Speaking of Bodhi, when one of my neighbors (a normal Minnesotan, I thought) met Bodhi, she asked what his name meant. When I said, \u201cEnlightenment,\u201d she responded, \u201cOh, yes, I see, he\u2019s completely black, just like enlightenment.\u201d<\/p>\n
I\u2019m not sure what is going on there, but I\u2019ll check it out for you and report back.<\/p>\n
The photo above is of Bald Eagle Lake. I bike around it almost daily and the kids and I often go floating in rafts we bought at WalMart for about $20 each. The cheapest thrill on the lake, I believe.<\/p>\n
