There are lots of articles and essays of interest to modern Pagans out there, sometimes more than I can write about\u00a0in-depth\u00a0in any given week. So\u00a0The Wild Hunt <\/em>must\u00a0unleash the hounds<\/a> in order to round them all up.<\/p>\n

Back in October I wrote about Christian talk-radio host Janet Mefferd\u2019s \u201cGay Pagan Hysteria,\u201d<\/a> criticizing her for comments about \u201cpagans\u201d<\/em> wanting to \u201cwipe out\u00a0Christianity.\u201d<\/em> It seems my criticisms actually caught the eye of Ms. Mefferd herself, as she dedicated some time in November to discuss modern Paganism and the \u201cideology\u201d<\/em> of \u201cpaganism\u201d<\/em> with Peter Jones<\/a>, editor of\u00a0\u201cOn Global Wizardry: Techniques of Pagan Spirituality and a Christian Response\u201d<\/a>. How can I tell that she was reading The Wild Hunt<\/em>? Because she directly quotes a guest-post by T. Thorn Coyle in the program<\/a>, to which Thorn replied that \u201cworking with Jason Pitzl-Waters always brings gifts of some sort or another!\u201d<\/a> <\/em>Always nice to know that some Christians are expanding their horizons by reading this blog, feel free to drop by anytime Janet!<\/li>\n
Anne Elizabeth Wynn at the Austin American Statesman concludes a year of visiting and experiencing various religious traditions with Unitarian Universalism and modern Paganism<\/a>. Puzzled by the \u201cconfusing research\u201d<\/em> into the differences between Wicca and Paganism, Wynn enlists the help of local Pagans Jax and GG (aka The Pagan Princesses<\/a>). On Paganism, GG says that it \u201cis not focused on life after death or on salvation or fear of damnation. A prosecutor in Siberia\u2019s call to ban the\u00a0Bhagavad Gita<\/a>, one of Hinduism\u2019s most holy texts, sparked an international outcry recently.\u00a0Embarrassed\u00a0by the official\u2019s actions a Russian court rejected the proposed ban, and\u00a0Russia\u2019s Foreign Ministry went on damage control<\/a>.
