I\u2019m in Seattle, Washington this weekend, part of the team that\u2019s putting on FaerieCon West<\/a>, a transformational celebration<\/a> of music, myth, fantasy, and, of course, faerie. While FaerieCon West, and events like it, are\u00a0not\u00a0explicitly Pagan, the openness and embrace of Pagan culture can\u2019t be missed by anyone whose eyes are open to it.<\/p>\n

While there are many presentations and performances<\/a> I\u2019m looking forward to, I\u2019m perhaps most excited about participating in a panel discussion with\u00a0Jeet Kei Leung<\/a>, who\u2019s writing a book entitled\u00a0\u201cDancing Together into The Great Shift: Transformational Festivals & The New Evolutionary Culture\u201d<\/a><\/em>, and once again getting to interview famed urban fantasy author Charles de Lint<\/a>, best known for his \u201cNewford\u201d novels. I hope to bring you photos, interviews, and coverage from what I\u2019m hoping will be amazing weekend. If you\u2019re in the Seattle area, I hope you\u2019ll drop by, experience it for yourself, and say hello!<\/p>\n
