Free Birth Society’s Founder Speaks Out With No Mention of Infant Death

Free Birth Society’s Founder Speaks Out With No Mention of Infant Death October 15, 2018

We are bringing you a video statement from Emilee Saldaya, founder of Free Birth Society, following the death of the infant in California. Despite the gravity of the situation, Emilee makes no mention of the infant death. Instead, she uses the opportunity to promote her $600 birthing course and a new Facebook group she says will be available to paying members only.

Emilee is just another scammer. She provides dangerous advice to expectant mothers with the sole purpose of making money.

In the statement, she says the Free Birth Society is not against Midwives or Doctors. However, I would like to point you to these blogs posted on their website:

Dear Midwives & Birth-Workers–Get Out of Our Vaginas

Letter from a Concerned Labour & Delivery Nurse

Her inability to take responsibility for her role in the death is astounding. Please try not to get angry, but I can assure you this will make your blood boil. Emilee says she is not giving medical advice. However, she charges up to $900 to work as a coach for mothers looking for assistance with Free Birth.

    Holy shit. That video.

That is one dangerous human being.

And GOOD WORK TROLLS!!! For infiltrating *all* of her groups!

Her groups need to disintegrate. They need to.

The Jilly Juice thing is now on the internet forever (I think), via torrents.

Years ago, through the homeschooling charter we were attending, I met a young woman who was a proponent of “unassisted home birth”. I imagine this “Free Birth” is an offshoot/development from that. She had had two of her three children via unassisted home birth, and BOTH had ended up in the neonatal ICU within hours of that birth. Yet she hadn’t learned a thing!

    SICKENING!!

  • adhoc

At $900, where is the “free” in free birth?

  • Syzygy

I didn’t know there was a “Free Birth Society.”
Are they associated with the Flat Earth People.
It has a nice ring – “Free Birth, Flat Earth”
    ——-
Everybody ——— “Free Birth, Flat Earth”
    With a 4 part harmony.

My thoughts are that you must hate yourself an awful lot to be motivated to treat women so badly. I hope you get the support you need to find peace in your heart. Must be hard hating others all the time.

  • Sarah Tuck

That’s so disgusting. How much hate you have in your heart

  • Anna

My thoughts are that its sickening that you and your ilk dont give a crap about the baby you all helped kill! You all enabled that woman now she has to live the rest of her life with that guilt. Totally preventable.

I see no mention of professional credentials here. These women are scammers.

  • RudyTooty

I want women to have accurate information about the risks they take when they decide to give birth away from life-saving medical staff and resources.

How is it treating women badly by wanting them to be fully informed so they can make educated decisions?

  • Dabbledash

You’ll find most folks don’t like people who contribute to the death of babies and feel no remorse.

  • swbarnes2

Not pandering to a woman’s lethally out-of-control vanity =/= treating someone badly.

This woman treated her fetus badly.

Normal people with hearts hate that this happened. Others are too full of themselves to mind anything bad happening to anyone but themselves.

It’s very common in Quiverfull, although many of the QF women will use a midwife. Unfortunately, due to their wanting to hide the facts of having too many children and not enough home or food or healthcare, they use midwives recommended by other QF moms, who are usually untrained and do nothing at all but keep telling the mother she’s doing great.

  • I deleted Sarah Tuck’s comments she is an active troll in the NCB world

  • Neither have any professional credentials.

  • frostysnowman

    She’s insufferable and smug.

  • PistachioGecko

    :/

Who’s going to take care of the ten plus children when she finally plays with too much fire?

    Oh yeah, the eldest daughter…

  • Zetopan0

It’s the same kind of get into “heaven” “free” by donating to churches!

  • sceptinurse

Damn, those women are pieces of work.
