Abortion More Atrocious Than Holocaust According to Megachurch Pastor December 18, 2018

Megachurch pastor Kris Vallotton took to Instagram to pen an open letter about the greatest atrocity of our times. Vallotton told his 151,000 followers that the greatest crime against humanity, even more, significant than the Holocaust, is abortion.

Vallotton is pastor at megachurch Bethel in Redding, California. The church is best known for their worship music and record label Bethe Music. With more than 9,000 members attending weekly, pastors at Bethel have considerable influence in their communities.

Vallotton decided to use his influence not to help the poor or feed the homeless but instead used his platform to call attention to his belief that abortion is the biggest atrocity in all of humanity.

In his post, Vallotton slams the U.S. government for not protecting the fetus by allowing abortions. He mentioned that women that chose to abort do so because of their “selfish lifestyles.”

Then he went after the favorite target of all anti-choice zealots and slammed Planned Parenthood. Vallotton accused Planned Parenthood of using their “family planning” services as a screen to kill fetuses and harvest their tissue.

“Don’t forget that much of this is done under the guise of “family planning” by Planned Parenthood who “helps women”, (Never mind that half of these babies are females), and is still funded by your tax dollars and by the harvesting of organs from these non-humans. Funny how a blob of cells aren’t human but they have harvestable organs.”

Vallotton is attempting to connect Planned Parenthood to a 2015 scandal where anti-choice filmmakers alleged that Planned Parenthood sold fetal tissue illegally. The video was heavily edited and later wholly discredited — the makers of the video where charged with dozens of felonies associated with the video.

After wrongfully accusing Planned Parenthood of misappropriating money, Vallotton then links abortion to the Holocaust.

“Ever wonder how Hitler convinced the Germans to murder 6 million Jews (many of whom were their neighbors and friends)? Yeah, now ask yourself what are you doing to stop the insanity?”

Then he calls his followers to action. Vallotton says that to stop abortion, they must not vote for any candidate that is pro-choice. After making that statement, Vallotton uses his best dramatic effect to connect abortion to racism, the Holocaust, slavery, and the slaughter of Native Americans by settlers.

“100 years from now abortion will go now as one of the greatest crimes ever perpetrated against a people. It will be viewed along with the slaughter of native Americans, the enslaving of the black race, and the genocide of the Jewish people.”

After making the bold and inaccurate statement, Vallotton applies is best pastor guilt to his followers. Using the tactics of any good cult leader, Vallotton says,

“In those days our great, great grandchildren will ask “Why didn’t people do something to stop this?” And we will answer…?”

Even though his entire post is entirely inaccurate and offensive, his supporters made hundreds of comments. More than 6,000 people liked his post.

Abortion is not even remotely comparable to the death of millions of Jewish men, women, and children in gas chambers by Germans. Nor can abortion exist in the same sentence of institutional slavery of millions of African American men and women.

For those that seek an abortion, the procedure is a means to end an unwanted or dangerous pregnancy. Additionally, 73% of all abortions are completed in the first trimester of pregnancy. Fetuses 12 weeks cannot survive outside of a uterus. Therefore, abortion and genocide or slavery are not the same.

Instead of providing facts and data, Vallotton relies on his followers to remain ignorant about abortion and women’s reproductive rights.

Perhaps most alarming is that a man is using his position to influence others on a body part he doesn’t have. Vallotton will never become pregnant and therefore does not understand why a woman would consider terminating a pregnancy.

I have an idea for Vallotton. Since he wants to say abortion is the greatest atrocity in history, can we also add male masturbation to the list? I mean think of all the sperm the men wasted by ejaculating outside of a woman’s vagina. Those sperms could have been babies!

Hey Vallotton, could you please weigh in on masturbation and protect the sperm?

K, Thanks.

Remember this “fetus” is not human, it’s not a person, and therefore it’s not protected by our constitution. It is simply a blob of cells easily removed from the mothers, opps I meant woman’s womb without any side effects. Have you ever heard such bull-crap in your life?! Talk about bad science…people will do anything to justify their selfish lifestyles. Don’t forget that much of this is done under the guise of “family planning” by Planned Parenthood who “helps women”, (Never mind that half of these babies are females), and is still funded by your tax dollars and by the harvesting of organs from these non-humans.

Funny how a blob of cells aren’t human but they have harvestable organs. Somebody tell me this isn’t the greatest atrocity of our times! Ever wonder how Hitler convinced the Germans to murder 6 million Jews (many of whom were their neighbors and friends)? Yeah, now ask yourself what are you doing to stop the insanity? This could be stopped in one year in America if we refused to vote for any candidate who was pro abortion. 100 years from now abortion will go now as one of the greatest crimes ever perpetrated against a people. It will be viewed along with the slaughter of native Americans, the enslaving of the black race, and the genocide of the Jewish people. In those days our great, great grandchildren will ask “Why didn’t people do something to stop this?” And we will answer…?

    He’s a liar.

    He’s a Christian.

    But I repeat myself.

  • Raging Bee

“…It will be viewed along with the slaughter of native Americans, the enslaving of the black race, and the genocide of the Jewish people.”

That analogy fails for the simple reason that none of those people exist inside the bodies of other people. That means it’s possible to let them live, and respect their rights, without degrading the lives or rights of anyone else.

“Ever wonder how Hitler convinced the Germans to murder 6 million Jews”

He did it through the demonization of the Jews and the emotional manipulation of the rest of the German people. He told people that a vote for the Nazi’s was a vote against the Jews. He swathed himself in religion and silenced critics while he had millions murdered in camps for no other reason than that he could. It doesn’t compare at all with people making a choice that christians don’t agree with.

    I doubt this guy cares

Ever wonder how Hitler convinced the Germans to murder 6 million Jews (many of whom were their neighbors and friends)?

I used to wonder how Hitler convinced German christians to murder 6 million Jews. However, after watching how American christians respond to Drumpf, I don’t have to wonder anymore.

Abortion is nothing new. It was commonplace in biblical times. The bible has fuckall to say about it.

Abortion in biblical times was commonly carried out after the baby was born. And the bible still had fuckall to say about it. The people who wrote the bible didn’t even think this sort of abortion was “murder,” but today, we do. So we’re already more moral than the people who wrote the bible.

Why do christians think they have to be more moral Jesus?

  • TinnyWhistler

Nah, the Bible includes a ritual that might end in miscarriage if a woman is suspected of adultery. God’ll abort the baby if you had wrong sex and drink the magic scroll ink water.

With more than 9,000 members attending weekly

I’d make an ‘over 9000’ joke but that meme is as dead as this guy’s moral compass.

  • Slaughtering men, women, and children that are sensient beings on their own is not the same as removing non-sensient groups of cells that cannot exist on their own outside a host. But fundamentalist Christians aren’t known for their knowledge of science.

Ever wonder how Hitler convinced the Germans to murder 6 million jews?

Watch Fox news, read Brietbart, and listen to Trump’s nationalism. Then you won’t wonder anymore.

And of course as many as eight women have had their abortions paid for by Trump, but that apparently doesn’t matter. We clearly cannot expect these people to live by the rules they continually seek to thrust on the rest of us, now can we?

  • correct

  • Trump doesn’t want to pay for what we already have!

  • clanhamilton

If God is against abortion why doesn’t he just pray and ask God to stop it?

Then either God will stop it, or he’s not praying hard enough and it’s his own damn fault.
“When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives…” James 4:3 – like the pleasure and power you feel when you preach a hateful sermon.

The Bible doesn’t say anything about birth control either, but these jerks are more than happy to just make sh!t up. I point out to these numbnuts that birth control and abortion were well known in Egypt, long before the Hebrews were there, and the Hebrews would obviously have known about them, yet there’s not a single thing in the Bible about it. If their god really cared, it would have been in Leviticus, but it’s not, just the section @tinnywhistler:disqus mentions that is kind of pro-abortion.

  • persephone

We know it’s just another way for men to control women. These men are so scared of women, they work to take any tiny bit of power we might have away from us.

If these guys were serious, they’d be working with Planned Parenthood to improve birth control access.

  • Jim Jones

He cares about the ‘tithes’. He cares a lot. And now that it’s almost impossible for him to be a racist, he has to go after gays and women.

    And thus he causes abortions.

    Abortion In the Netherlands

In the Netherlands, abortion is freely available on demand. Yet the Netherlands boasts the lowest abortion rate in the world, and the complication and death rates for abortion are minuscule. How do they do it? First of all, contraception is widely available and free — it’s covered by the national health insurance plan. Holland also carries out extensive public education on contraception, family planning, and sexuality. Of course, some people say that teaching kids about sex and contraception will only encourage them to have lots of sex. But Dutch teenagers tend to have less frequent sex, starting at an older age, than American teenagers, and the Dutch teenage pregnancy rate is 6 times lower than in the U.S.

He didn’t murder the population without first extracting maximum value through an institution of forced labor, an ironic turn of phrase in the context of Vallotton’s politically motivated rant.

  • HairyEyedWordBombThrower

    Okay…*against* it.
