For our first Christmas, I bought Scott a quilt and 2 quilt shams. \u00a0He opened them and said something like, \u201cGee, it\u2019s nice you bought yourself a present!\u201d<\/p>\n

Have I said before that I don\u2019t have the love language of gift-giving? \u00a0<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I certainly wasn\u2019t sure he\u2019d like the quilt, but I didn\u2019t think he\u2019d so totally reject it. \u00a0After all, it was for our marital bed and I thought guys were really into the significance of that bed. . .<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Ever since,\u00a0our family regularly refers to\u00a0\u201cquilt\u201d presents.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
So on Christmas, after opening various kitchen utensil gifts from my kids, imagine my surprise when I opened the Wii game Just Dance 3<\/i>.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n

\u201cOh! \u00a0A quilt present!\u201d I even said out loud.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
I felt a stab of guilt\u2013kids have asked for Just Dance<\/i> for over a year now, maybe two. \u00a0But I\u2019m so not into video games that I\u2019ve literally forgotten to buy it when I\u2019ve had the chance.\n

Here\u2019s what\u2019s great about Just Dance:<\/p>\n

  1. It\u2019s fun<\/li>\n
  2. It\u2019s a good workout\u2013almost as good as Zumba.<\/li>\n
  3. They\u2019ve taken all the swear words out of the songs so they\u2019re PG<\/li>\n
  4. There\u2019s even an Indian dance, an African dance, a Latin dance and a complete un-PC cringe-worthy Native dance.<\/li>\n
  5. I crush my kids almost every single song. \u00a0I think Kai\u2019s managed too beat me on one measly song. \u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Because my New Year\u2019s resolutions include moving my body every day, I\u2019ve wiggled my way through 4 sessions thus far.<\/p>\n

    Not so bad for a \u201cquilt\u201d present.<\/p><\/div>\n
