Today in my Richard Rohr Daily Reading that comes via email, Rohr quotes Paula D\u2019Arcy\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

God comes to us disguised as our life.<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Hmmm. \u00a0That\u2019s deep. \u00a0He quoted D\u2019Arcy as he reflected on Mary:<\/span><\/p>\n

The events of life are themselves Mary\u2019s guide and teacher.\u00a0She does not need to figure it out and plan accordingly; the plan will be given by God through life\u2019s ordinary events and encounters.\u00a0Reality itself is her teacher.\u00a0That is why she could hear angels.\u00a0And that is why she could hear Elizabeth.\u00a0<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

That\u2019s also deep.<\/span>

This is why I love Richard Rohr. \u00a0He\u2019s so deep. \u00a0If only I could understand what he means half the time.<\/span><\/span>
