But we just finished our 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0round of college tours, this time in Philadelphia with friends.\u00a0 Our crowd included my 2 girls, a rising junior and freshman, my friend Mona, and her 2 daughters, a rising sophomore and freshman who are also my girls\u2019 oldest friends.\u00a0 We visited University of Pennsylvania, Swarthmore and Villanova.<\/div>\n
After visiting Northwestern and University of Chicago last trip sans friends\u2014let me tell you it\u2019s a lot more fun with friends\u2014for kids and moms.<\/div>\n
Having attended 5 tours with 5 different tour guides, my inner sociologist can\u2019t help noticing some tour guide trends.\u00a0 Here are some random stats:<\/div>\n
