<\/iframe>\n<\/p>Studying Hindu gods and goddesses? \u00a0Here\u2019s a living one!<\/p>\nKumari are living goddesses and worshiped by both Hindus and Buddhists in Nepal.<\/p>\nThe newest Kumari is an 11-year old girl, who,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2014\/04\/25\/kumari-nepal-living-goddess_n_5107543.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"> according to the Huffington Post<\/a>, is \u201cconsidered to be the earthly manifestations of divine female energy, incarnations of the goddess known as Taleju, the Nepalese name for Durga.\u201d<\/p>\nPeople from all over the world come to see her \u00a0and, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/magazine-27885141\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">notes the BBC<\/a>\u00a0in this fascinating story,\u00a0\u00a0this young kumari must follow many rules.<\/p>\n\u201cFor one,\u201d says the BBC, \u00a0her mother \u201chas to apply special makeup to her daughter\u2019s face in intricate designs. The girl isn\u2019t allowed to go outside except for festivals. On those occasions, her feet must not touch the ground.
