Carapella told NPR that he thinks \u201ca lot of people get blown away by, \u2018Wow, there were a lot of tribes, and they covered the whole country!\u2019 You know, this is Indian land,\u201d says Carapella, who calls himself a \u201cmixed-blood Cherokee\u201d and lives in a ranch house within the jurisdiction of the Cherokee Nation.\u201d<\/p>\n
So, if you\u2019re studying early American history, or even \u00a0primal religions, these maps will add a lot to student understanding of our early history.<\/p>\n
