<\/iframe><\/p>\nFinally, I explained the elements of the two other classic myths\u2013the creation myth and the trickster myth.<\/p>\nHopefully, the Star Wars<\/em> connections will help the students to remember the lesson.<\/p>\nMy thanks to my colleague, Jeff Feinstein, who showed me some of the links to Star Wars<\/em> and its role in myth and also for suggesting the storyboard as a hook for the lesson.<\/p>\nHere are some other resources. The Air and Space Museum in Washington DC had an excellent exhibit in 1999 called <a href=\"http:\/\/airandspace.si.edu\/exhibitions\/star-wars\/online\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\">\u201cStar Wars and the Magic of Myth.\u201d<\/a>\u00a0Their online site still has a lot of good information.<\/p>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.starwarsintheclassroom.com\/content\/hj\/index.asp\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">Star Wars in the Classroom <\/a>has excellent resources for Star Wars<\/em> and mythology.
