The festival happens every twelve years at the confluence of the Ganges and Yamuna rivers. Hindus believe that bathing in the\u00a0water\u00a0will wash away their sins and help bring salvation. But religion is not the only reason why this festival is so interesting. \u00a0What\u2019s amazing about Kumbh Mela is that it was the largest gathering of humans in\u00a0history, with over 100,000,000 Hindus converging on the two rivers!
