I\u2019m talking about The Great Heresies<\/i> by Hilaire Belloc.<\/p>\n Now, before you all mutiny and go whining about how it\u2019s summer-time and school is out etc.,etc., do me a favor. Save the complaining for another time. Sheesh, it\u2019s starting to sound like my household around here with all my children reminding me that school is over!\u00a0 Adult lesson #1: School may be over, but life doesn\u2019t go on vacation. This coming Thursday, though, I intend to follow Jack Lewis\u2019 advice and give you a short, palate-clearing reading selection. Just like we did last time.<\/a> Maybe we can actually have some decent discussions now that the Skipper (ahem, Webster) is ashore on business. Just don\u2019t tell him I said that. Reading this book will help you boost your number.<\/a> So mark your calendars, head to\u00a0your favorite\u00a0book store, beg, borrow, (but please do not steal) a copy of Belloc\u2019s \u201cbook on the biggies.\u201d Real cheap-skates(I\u2019m first in that line!)\u00a0can even find it for free on-line. And don\u2019t scramble too fast because although we will still meet on Thursdays, we don\u2019t start until next<\/i> Thursday. Looking at my wrist watch, that appears to be June 3rd.<\/p>\n
