No. God is awesome, and so are all the folks who took the time and effort to sign the little petition that could<\/a><\/em>. You\u2019ve heard me say it once, and I\u2019ve said it a million times. Bravo Zulu, to all of you. BZ, BZ, BZ.<\/p>\n

And I\u2019ve got a little something else for you as my family and I celebrate clearing the 25,000 signature hurdle<\/a>, crossed at 15:59 today at the White House website, with dinner and a beer (for me). While we were flying the Freedom of Conscience<\/em> all those hours trying to get to the finish line, many of you signed the petition. And then many of you shared the petition, and even wrote about it, and prayed about it. And while all that was happening, other milestones fell that didn\u2019t get celebrated, because we had a laser-like focus on the goal at hand.<\/p>\n

For example, I promised folks that when the YIMCatholic Facebook page cleared 1,000 \u201cfans\u201d\/ \u201clikes,\u201d I\u2019d share something special. But then duty called, and I had to put that on the back burner. But now we can party a little, and so I\u2019ll share some clips from two of my favorite movies based on two of my favorite books. First up, is kind of topical, in that it sort of gets at what I tried to accomplish, but knew I couldn\u2019t all by myself. Break through a barrier that look like the longest of long shots to achieve. Have a look,<\/p>\n

Go watch the whole film over on YouTube.<\/a> You\u2019ll be glad you did. Because something about those men with no names is embodied in each one of us. All of you who signed the petition, most of whom I don\u2019t know. Names like Laura S, Ted K., Raymond J.S, and Alexis M. You are from everywhere in this great land of our, and from nowhere. But one thing you say to the present administration is quite clear: this aggression will not stand. The line has been crossed, and after years of giving away our precious freedoms, we are saying loud and clear that we.have.had.enough.<\/p>\n

Which brings me to the other clip from my favorite version of Shakespere\u2019s epic drama, Henry V. Long time readers and followers know that when we break milestones at YIMCatholic, I break out the speech.<\/em> And it fits this occasion too, don\u2019t you think?Like han Solo says, \u201cNever tell me the odds.\u201d Take it away Henry,<\/p>\n
