As Cameron reasoned at the time, \u201cif evolutionists can come up with imaginary missing links, why can\u2019t we?\u201d<\/p>\n

What\u2019s really amazing about this video isn\u2019t Cameron\u2019s unintentional Nostradamus-like evolution prediction skills, it\u2019s what\u2019s going to happen next.<\/p>\n
Nothing.<\/em><\/p>\nDespite the damning evidence, we won\u2019t see any creationist anywhere budge for their deeply entrenched position of denial.<\/p>\n
You see, to any logical person not bound blindly to ideology it is clear that this is yet one more nail in the coffin of creationism. Probably, the most ironic nail of all.<\/p>\n
But I\u2019m betting we won\u2019t hear a peep out of Cameron\u2019s camp.<\/p>\n
Why?<\/p>\n
Because arrogance and denial are the foundation of fundamentalism.<\/p>\n
You see, they had no problem arrogantly denouncing evolution in their ridiculous video because that\u2019s what fundamentalism is built upon \u2013 the arrogance of ignorance.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s an arrogance that has no need for inconvenient things like facts and reality because it already has all the answers. No inquiry and certainly no questions are needed or wanted.<\/p>\n
That arrogance drives out any space for the sort of humility that is required to admit that you\u2019re wrong about something you\u2019ve spent so much time and energy into denouncing.<\/p>\n
Which is why the only thing we\u2019re likely to hear from the creationist camp is the chirping of crickets.<\/p>\n
Because there\u2019s no greater sin in the world of fundamentalism than admitting you\u2019re wrong.<\/p>\n
