Today, my acoustic guitar sits languishing in my closet while my beloved Stratocaster has been stolen for years (from church of all places).<\/p>\n

But there was a time when not a day passed by in which I didn\u2019t spend hours playing the guitar convinced that given enough time and practice I could become God\u2019s gift to the guitar.<\/p>\n

Shockingly, that didn\u2019t work out so well.<\/p>\n

But the memories came flooding back today when I stumbled upon a picture that imagined what it would be like if God\u2019s gift to humanity was also God\u2019s gift to the guitar.<\/p>\n

I have to admit, it made be smile.<\/p>\n

Of course, such as the internet is, this wasn\u2019t the only picture that imagined our Lord and Savior as a rock god (or would it be the<\/em> rock God?).<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t long before I found a guitar strumming Jesus that made me smile even more.<\/p>\n

\"jesusguitar2\"<\/a>And then I saw soft\u00a0rock Jesus.<\/p>\n

\"Screen<\/a>And guitar shredding Last Supper Jesus.<\/p>\n

\"Screen<\/a><\/p>\n

And I figured that was it.<\/p>\n

Amusing pictures of Jesus playing the guitar. Funny, but admittedly not much more than grin inducing.<\/p>\n

But then I came across the pi\u00e8ce de r\u00e9sistance.<\/p>\n

A gif of Jesus not just playing the guitar, but rocking out for all of creation.<\/p>\n

And then my day was made just as it was getting started.<\/p>\n

So, go ahead. Look at it and try not to laugh.<\/p>\n

You can\u2019t do it.<\/p>\n
