While most stories from this weekend regarding burning things made me shake my head, a story out of Amarillo, TX made me giggle like a school girl.<\/p>\n

According to the Amarillo Globe News<\/a>, the scene was set for David Grisham (director of \u201cRepent Amarillo\u201d) to exercise his right to free speech by burning a Quran in a public park. \u00a0His plans attracted a crowd of peace-loving protesters, all of whom seemed resigned to the fact that they were going to witness a book go up in flames.<\/p>\n

But not so fast. \u00a0While Grisham was distracted by debating protesters, a man with a skateboard sneaked up behind him and took the Quran from his hand. \u00a0He then calmly handed it to a Muslim leader nearby. \u00a0Reporters later identified the 23 yr old as Jacob Isom<\/p>\n
