We\u2019ve ~~never<\/del> been saying this forever: \u201cThere need to be more video games based on\u00a0Apocryphal\u00a0prophets.\u201d<\/p>\n~~

Thankfully, somebody was ~~really bored?<\/del> listening and Enoch finally has\u00a0his own video game<\/a>!<\/p>\n~~

<\/iframe>\n<\/p>From CNN<\/em>:<\/p>\n\u201cThere\u2019s \u201cGod of War\u201d and \u201cDevil May Cry.\u201d \u201cKid Icarus\u201d and \u201cBattle for Asgard.\u201d<\/p>\nPlenty of video games use mythical gods or other characters and creatures from beyond to drive their stories.<\/p>\nBut notably absent, at least among mainstream titles? The Bible. At least until now.<\/p>\n\u201cEl Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron\u201d\u00a0(Ignition Entertainment) is based on the Old Testament figure Enoch, a man originally written about in the Book of Genesis who, according to the story, is taken to heaven without dying.<\/p>\nIn the apocryphal Books of Enoch, which appeared in the Ethiopic Bible, he becomes the chief of the archangels and protector of heaven\u2019s treasures.<\/p>\nIn \u201cEl Shaddai,\u201d Enoch is a priest who attempts to stop seven fallen angels from destroying the world.
