Apparently, it\u2019s the continuation of an annual tradition that has seen the Easter story retold through the dramatic adaptation of such films as The Wrath of Kahn<\/em>, Pirates of the Caribbean<\/em>, and The Princess Bride<\/em>.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m all about drawing out faith lessons from film. I do that every month with the students in my youth group. We call it \u201cpopcorn theology\u201d. But how those movies relate to the resurrection or why they need to be rewritten and turned into plays to convey a totally unrelated story is beyond me.<\/p>\n
