That is, if treats make you sick to your stomach and embarrassed to be a Christian.<\/p>\n

There are plenty of fraudulant faith healers out there, but none as ridiculous, or dangerous, as Bentley.<\/p>\n

In the past, Bentley has claimed to cure cancer by punching people in the chest<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, he\u2019s stirring up controversy across the pond with claims that God told him to kick a woman in the face to heal her.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s right, according to Todd Bentley God told him to kick a woman in the face. In Bentley\u2019s world that\u2019s called faith healing. In the real world that\u2019s called assault.<\/p>\n

A CANADIAN pastor who believes he can heal people by kicking them in the face has ignited controversy in the United Kingdom where a local politician has called for him to be banned from entering the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This is Croydon Today<\/a>\u00a0website reports that Todd Bentley, 36, of the Fresh Fire Ministries church, says the Holy Spirit often tells him to kick people in the face so he can cure them of illness.<\/p>\n

In one video Mr Bentley says, \u201cI was asked why the power of God isn\u2019t moving and I said it\u2019s because I haven\u2019t kicked that woman in the face.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Holy Spirit spoke to me, the gift of faith came on me, and said: \u2018Kick her in the face. With your biker boot\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cI inched closer and I went like this (he kicks out forcefully) \u2013 Bam!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cJust as my boot made contact with her nose, she fell under the power of God.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Daily Mail\u00a0<\/a>reports that\u00a0Labour MP for Croydon North, Malcolm Wicks, wants Home Secretary Theresa May to stop Mr Bentley entering the UK.<\/p>\n

\u201dHis visit can do nothing but harm and I would be grateful for any measures you can take,\u201d Mr Wicks told Ms May.<\/p>\n
