I think we would all agree that there are few groups of people on earth that are more un-Christlike, heinous, callous, thoughtless, and despicable than Westboro Baptist \u201cChurch.\u201d<\/p>\n

Protesting funerals will get you that sort of reputation.<\/p>\n

But apparently Fred Phelps and company aren\u2019t satisfied with being one of the most<\/em> un-Christlike, heinous, callous, thoughtless, despicable group of people on earth.<\/p>\n

They want the top spot all to themselves.<\/p>\n

How do you possibly do that?<\/p>\n

By picking on 5 year old girls and their lemonade stands.<\/p>\n

Seriously. They did that.<\/p>\n

Westboro Baptist Church Responds To \u2018Lemonade For Peace\u2019 Sale With Anti-Gay Taunt<\/h1>\n

The Westboro Baptist Church has responded to one little girl\u2019s campaign to raise money for peace the only way they seem to know how: with a homophobic jab.<\/p>\n
Over the weekend, the\u00a0story of Jayden Sink<\/a>\u00a0and her lemonade stand went viral online, with thousands of people sharing news of how a 5-year-old took on the Westboro Baptist Church.<\/p>\n
As The Huffington Post previously reported, Jayden is the daughter of Jon Sink, founder of the philanthropic arts group\u00a0 FRESHCASSETTE \u2013 Creative Compassion<\/a>. The two decided to sell lemonade outside the Equality House \u2014 a rainbow-colored dwelling owned by nonprofit\u00a0 Planting Peace<\/a>\u00a0that campaigns for human rights, gay rights and anti-bullying efforts \u2014 to raise money for peace and love Saturday.<\/p>\n
The Equality House sits across the street from the Westboro Baptist Church\u2019s Topeka, Kan., compound, and the anti-gay, quasi-religious group was none too happy with Jayden\u2019s event. Members from the group apparently attempted to call the local police and later stooped to yelling profanities at lemonade drinkers.<\/p>\n
