Hillary Clinton Buys Neil deGrasse Tyson Poster During Trip to Wisconsin

Say what you will about Hillary Clinton; she has good taste in art.

During her trip to Madison, Wisconsin this week, Clinton stopped by a local store called Anthology where she bought a few items:

… including a red, chunky necklace, a couple pins and a print of a Neil deGrasse Tyson quote: “The good thing about science is that it’s true whether or not you believe in it.”

That would be this print right here:

Fun fact: The item is provided to the store by the folks at WhiskerPrints who also sell prints featuring quotations by Carl Sagan and Sam Harris.

Maria O., who owns WhiskerPrints along with her husband, told me in an email that she was thrilled Clinton bought one of their products:

“Even though my husband and I are both Bernie supporters, we’re honored that Hillary bought one of our prints. We love teachers and since Neil deGrasse Tyson is one of our favorite educators, we’re very happy she chose that quote.”

It’s always nice to have a science advocate in the White House. And if Clinton wins the election, that sign would look pretty damn good in the Oval Office.

Hell, she should buy a copy for every member of Congress.
