In an episode of Celebrity Family Feud set to air next week, Neil deGrasse Tyson and his family make it to the Fast Money round and (of course) demolish it. Because they’re the Tysons and that’s how they roll.
It’s so anticlimactic to tell you that Neil and his son Travis won $25,000 for their charity, STRIVE International, that ABC already released the clip of their victory.
This is just unfair. One family can’t be this good at everything. Hell, even when Tyson wrongly said a cucumber was a vegetable — it has seeds on the inside, making it a fruit — he still got enough points to win the game. The man scores on his errors!
Forget Family Feud. If ABC really wanted to make this interesting, they could have Tyson and Steve Harvey debate religion for an hour. I would gladly watch Tyson rip apart Harvey’s anti-atheist dating tips.
If that’s not an option, I’ll also accept a behind-the-scenes video of Tyson explaining how Family Feud‘s surveys aren’t the least bit scientific.
