Contact

You can contact Hemant by sending an email to friendlyatheist [at] friendlyatheist [dot] com. Any email that is sent to him may be reprinted (in part or in full), in any format along with the sender’s information — URL, email, IP address. (So don’t be evil.)

A lot of emails and link submissions are sent to this site each day. If Hemant doesn’t respond, rest assured he did read the email and check out the link, but for whatever reason, he chose not to write about the subject. Don’t take it hard! And please keep sending along those suggestions.

For some reason, links do not always show up in the email! If you’re sending a link, a description of what you’re sending including a quotation, source, etc. is always helpful.

I’d like to suggest a post topic to you. Patheos has an incomplete and incorrect description of atheism and agnosticism on the link under humanism. I think that a post on why the descriptions are inadequate or wrong would be a good way to start off, as many of the regulars here have probably been using it as a reference or indicator.

I second fiddler’s comment. Why move to Patheos when they either ignore or mischaracterize atheism?

I think being able to correct this kind of mistake is the very reason we need to have a presence here. Its all about being open and helping people to understand that we are not the monsters that they think we are.

Dear Hemant, you really need to bring that terrible definition to their attention and have it replaced with something a lot more accurate!

    Hi,

I’m 44 years old, and I’m really angry at the Easter Bunny. Once he left me a white chocolate rabbit. Now everyone knows there is no such thing as white chocolate. I want everyone to believe there is no such thing as that mean nasty Easter Bunny either!! That will show him! Kids are being really good so the easter Bunny will come to their house and then he just rips them off! How can I start a club like yours to tell people that the Easter Bunny won’t ever do just exactly what you want him to do, and that he isn’t really real anyway. Did I mention that I’m really angry at the easter Bunny?? Thanks in advance for your help!
