A More Cruciform Church

An interview with Craig Blomberg

Craig L. Blomberg is Distinguished Professor of New Testament at Denver Seminary, and a renowned author of numerous important works on the New Testament and Mormon-Evangelical dialogue (see below). Timothy Dalrymple interviewed him for the YEV series, which prompts Evangelicals of all stripes to explain why they are Evangelical and where they hope Evangelicalism will grow in the years to come, at the American Academy of Religion meeting in Montreal in November, 2009.

Why are you an Evangelical?

Where would you like to see Evangelicalism in 10-20 years?

Dr. Blomberg received his MA from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and his Ph.D. from Aberdeen University in Scotland.  He was a research fellow at the Tyndale House at Cambridge University.  He has authored or edited fifteen books, including Jesus and the Gospels: An Introduction and Survey, The Historical Reliability of the Gospels, Neither Poverty Nor Riches: A Biblical Theology of Possessions, and How Wide the Divide: A Mormon and an Evangelical in Conversation.  He lives, teaches and writes in Denver, Colorado.
