Triumph and Trust at Ground Zero

Their story is the subject of the just-released Thunder Dog, a book Michael co-authored with Susy Flory. It is available in print, large print, and audible versions, and may be obtained at his website, and at bookstores around the U.S. If purchased through his website, the book is autographed by Michael, and comes complete with a paw-print from Roselle.

"I would not be alive today if it weren't for Roselle." He and his wife, Karen, thank God for the privilege to have been blessed with this amazing furry friend who was a real hero on 911.

Michael left me with this thought as we concluded our conversation: "Don't worry about the things you can't control, but focus on the things you can, and the rest will take care of itself. Sometimes you don't have a choice over what happens to you, but you do over how you react to them, and how you face the situation."
