Read an Excerpt From "Boundless"

The whole story raised so many questions. Was Randy's approach biblical? Aren't there Muslim beliefs that are incompatible with biblical faith? Could this kind of approach be used elsewhere? And what do these Muslim believers in Jesus actually believe?

Now, on this April morning in 1998, I realized I had Randy sitting right in front of me. I had to resist the urge to ask Randy to please skip the rest of the conference and just answer my questions. But I did ask him to have lunch with me, and he agreed. And then after lunch, we continued to talk in the empty restaurant through the whole afternoon as the next lecture went on without us. For the rest of the week, we skipped session after session as I followed Randy through the sliding doors that automatically opened from one part of the complex to another. We walked through the seventeen-story atrium with its glass elevators and greenery. We sat in lounges and cafés and stood in wood-paneled hallways. And Randy patiently answered many of my questions.
