David Murray
Dr David Murray worked for five years as a consultant in the financial services industry before being converted to Christ. After studying for the ministry in Glasgow and Edinburgh, he pastored two congregations in Scotland for 12 years. In 2007 he accepted the call to be Professor of Old Testament and Practical Theology at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, MI. He still preaches most Sundays and continues pastoral work as PRTS student chaplain and also in various counseling settings.
In 2010 Dr Murray published Christians Get Depressed Too and Gods Technology, a DVD to help parents train their children in the use of digital technology.
He is married to Shona and they have four children ranging from 7 to 14. In his spare time he enjoys fishing and skiing and is a blue belt at Taekwondo.
