Ana Mollinedo Mims is a seasoned global executive, fractional CXO, and board director with a proven track record of scaling businesses, driving profitability, and guiding
organizations through pivotal moments. Born in Havana, Cuba, and having lived on four continents, Ana brings a wealth of experience in strategic operations and leading high-performing teams in competitive, highly regulated industries.
Currently, Ana serves as the Managing Director of Harbinger Holdings REI, an investment firm specializing in affordable housing, and as an Adjunct Instructor at New York University’s School of Professional Studies, where she teaches the Theory, History, and Practice of Public Relations.
Ana’s professional journey started on Capitol Hill and includes serving as Chief Communications and Marketing Officer at Cable & Wireless and holding senior positions at Eli Lilly, Monsanto, Cemex, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts, as well as Executive Director of the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change in Atlanta, GA. A passionate advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEI&J), Ana has designed award-winning global corporate diversity programs that foster equitable workplace cultures.
She is deeply involved in faith-based initiatives, a co-leader in the Coalition for Faith & Media, and a leader of prayer groups, women’s conferences, and ministries. She graduated from the School of Leadership at Tung Ling Bible School in Southeast Asia.
In addition, Ana is an accomplished author, co-authoring Public Relations in the Digital Age (Kendall Hunt) and penning several works, including What About Integrated Communications?, Subiendo the Corporate Ladder, and Keeping the Faith: How Applying Spiritual Purpose to Work Can Lead to Extraordinary Success (HarperCollins/Rayo).
She is an alumna of Leadership Atlanta and has served on numerous corporate, advisory, and nonprofit boards in the U.S. and internationally. Profiles in Diversity Journal has recognized Ana as a Woman to Watch in Business, and she has appeared on The Today Show. Her insights have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Crain’s New York Business, Fortune, DiversityInc, and Black Enterprise, among others.
