An example of media propaganda

An example of media propaganda

In a story from Alina Selyukh of Reuters, we are told via the headline that despite the deplorable slightly less than preferred jobs data released yesterday, a six day tracking poll finds that voters have given a bump to Obama over Romney.  Now, think about it.  If it is a six day tracking poll, and the jobs data was released yesterday, why would we think the data would have any discernible impact on the poll at all?  How could it?  I would think next week’s poll would show how much the jobs report – which, by the way, continues to affirm we are on the fast track to the precipice – actually impacted voters’ views of the candidates.  Just let it sink in, and reflect.  No more lessons today class.
