If Jesus didn’t say it, it must be true

One reason I frequently go to The American Catholic is here.  In addition to reminding me that loathing of the United States is not a Catholic virtue, he also has wonderful pieces that don’t mind rolling up their sleeves and exposing arguments that are accepted by our best and brightest and yet contain serious flaws.  In this case taking out the silly, yet popular, idea that if Jesus didn’t say it, it must not be important (you know, like protecting the environment).  I’ll say no more.  Read it for yourself.  The original piece is here.
