Anyone who has followed my blog for more than a year or so knows one thing for sure: I love the Fall. I enjoy Spring and there’s still enough kid in me to enjoy Winter, especially leading up to Christmas. Summer is my hibernation time. But Fall? It’s to me what Spring is supposed to be to most people.
Today is a day off. The boys are off of school, owing to a local holiday that can only happen in small town America. And with it, I have the day off as well. Don’t know what we’ll do today. Maybe nothing, though I always hate to let a day go by without something to do. I often start reading The Lord of the Rings in September, but thought this year I’d try something different. This year I’m going to read through the Appendices. Truth be told, I’ve glanced at them over the years, but never read through them. As for the other fun parts of Fall, those are just beginning. Here are some links to previous posts over the years in which I muse over, in my own amateurish way, just why I love this season. Enjoy.
