Movies to scare by

Speaking of Halloween movies, some years ago Simcha Fisher wrote a piece about movies she and her family watched around Halloween.  Inspired by that, I presented my own humble offering.  We’ve added to the list since then, most recently the Academy Award winning 1932 version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, starring Frederic March.   My oldest wanted that for his birthday, and with the miracle of digital downloads, we were able to deliver and enjoy it last night to cap off the birthday celebrations.   Over all, the list is still pretty accurate, and through the season, we’ll usually watch most of them.  Just a little frivolity to lighten the scary election.
