Told you so

Trying not to get too much into the controversy, it’s still tough to ignore.  Here is a gushing article reporting that a gay couple is poised to file a lawsuit against the Church of England for discrimination against gays.  Remember when we were told it would never come to this?  In the comments, folks worried about the impending loss of liberty and freedom are mocked for failing to notice that this is England and not America, because we know Americans would never, ever be influenced by the goings on of Europe.  I’ve been saying it for years.  We are seeing the bedrock of tyranny and tomorrow’s genocides being laid before our eyes. When the atrocities occur and our freedoms are lost, we’ll have nobody to blame but ourselves, and our posterity will rightly judge us, and judge us harshly.
