Wasn’t the Brexit vote supposed to spell the end of humanity 

Or at least the end of prosperity?  Someone needs to notify Wall Street.  Not that the well being of the markets necessarily translates to the well being of us little people.  But when the markets fell the first day after Brexit, how many sites and outlets pointed to the drop and used it to prove the impending apocalypse.  Well, it hasn’t.  Not that there might not be problems.  But the those who panicked over our inevitable doom appear to have jumped the gun.  Which is a good thing no matter how you slice it.
