The Human Search for Meaning
Humans naturally seek meaning and purpose. Throughout history, people from all walks of life have grappled with questions about identity, purpose, and the meaning of existence. In the face of so many competing worldviews and ideologies, it is easy to float adrift, longing for a firm foundation, a new lens through which to interpret our view of the world. Paradigm Crisis
Many of our paradigms are formed based on what we observed growing up. In contrast, cultural factors in which we were surrounded in and the education we received may have been a basis for our paradigm choice. Some look for material success, achievement, or personal happiness.
Paradigm Bust!
Ironically, these paradigms offer structured time, and they meet our needs. However, it did not last. In contrast, it failed to answer the deeper questions of loss, love, mortality, or hope. Perhaps it collapsed in the face of loss, pain, or disappointment. When faced with this impasse, we should search for a new paradigm. In search of a new paradigm? Try Yeshua!
Paradigm Defined
You may be wondering now, what is a paradigm? Covey explains the Meaning of a paradigm in the following manner: “The word paradigm comes from the Greek. It was originally a scientific term, as more commonly used today to mean a model, theory, perception, assumption, or frame of reference. In the more general sense, it’s the way we see the world not in terms of our visual sense of sight, but in terms of perceiving, understanding, interpreting.” Now that you know what it means, are you ready? Questions to Ponder
The yearning for a new paradigm is, in essence, our yearning for transformation. What occurs is a longing desire to find not merely a new set of ideas, but a new heart, a new spirit, a new way of living. Who is this Yeshua who invites us to a new paradigm? What does it mean to try him not as an abstract concept or distant historical figure but as a living presence capable of offering change, hope, and renewal?
Yeshua’s Offer
Yeshua of Nazareth, who has shaped the course of history, offers a radically different paradigm for understanding ourselves and the world. In a world obsessed with achievement, status, and self-advancement, Yeshua turns the paradigm upside down. He teaches that the greatest among us are those who serve, that true life is found not in gaining the world, but in losing ourselves for others. His paradigm is not one of incompleteness and loss but of abundance, hope, and compassion. Friends, if you are in search of a new paradigm, I recommend Yeshua!
Paradigm Shift
To try Yeshua is not merely to experiment with a new idea, but to embark on a journey that transforms the heart, soul, and mind. After reading the Bible, Kuhn, and Covey, I concluded that I needed to reevaluate my paradigm with respect to all aspects of my life.
Stephen Covey
In Stephen Covey’s book, “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Restoring the Character Ethic,” he speaks of beginning with the end in mind. This statement caused me to reflect on what I would like to accomplish before I depart this world. What goals do you have? Is your paradigm broken? In search of a new paradigm? Try Yeshua!
Soul Searching Questions
In finding Yeshua, I found that some of the things I had viewed as important were not as important as they seemed.
Questions in your quest for a new paradigm should include, but not be limited to:
How do you view the world? Why?
How did you get to where you are?
What is your mission in life?
Would you like to make a paradigm shift in your life today that includes Yeshua?
Looking Forward
Friends, if you answer yes to that last question, you’ll see positive changes in your life. I embraced Yeshua, and my life has improved. In Yeshua, I’ve learned, like Paul, to be content in all circumstances. Are you in search of a new paradigm? Try Yeshua!

The essence of a person.
Shifting
Think…think…think
What I think I am, I am or become.
What I do defines me.
Constantly becoming, always evolving…
into “me.”
Think, act, do”
What say you?
Are you also evolving into you?
