The Final Episode of Big Love, the Goddess and Alternative Family

I’d really like to write about HBO’s Big Love, the final season of which is now out on dvd.

But we’re facing a world where my ability to write about such things becomes more perilous. My linking to something relating to intellectual property could harm Patheos under this law, and so Youtube music playlists, like the one I posted yesterday, would become a thing of the past.

I can’t physically make my blog go black today. Our tech folks have too much on their hands right now. But had I been able, you would have logged on to find this blog entirely empty of content in protest.

I don’t believe in piracy, in downloading music or video illegally. But I also think that censoring the web is an even worse idea.

So my protest, instead of blacking out this blog, is to simply withhold my content. I want to write the post that goes with the title above, but I’m not. I have a lot to say regarding Paganism, family and the Feminine Divine, but I’m not going to say it.
