Grand Opening Of New San Diego Ideal Scientology Organization

The dedicated of the Ideal Church of Scientology San Diego took place on Saturday, November 19. For a taste of the afternoon, here is a sampling of the images from the Scientology Newsroom.

San Diego’s new Church of Scientology opened Saturday, November 19 in the city’s downtown. Some 3,500 Scientologists and guests were on hand to witness the historic occasion.

Mr. David Miscavige, Chairman of the Board Religious Technology Center, led the dedication.

Joined by prominent Scientologists of San Diego, Mr. Miscavige pulled down the ribbon adorning the front of the building, officially opened the Church.

Once the ribbon came down, thousands poured through the new San Diego Church taking in the facilities where they will advance through Scientology services.

To meet the global demand for Dianetics and Scientology, a new breed of Scientology Church is being opened in major cities around the world.

2004 marked the launch of the Ideal Org (Organization) strategy to transform all Scientology Churches into Ideal Churches of Scientology.

This was the goal L. Ron Hubbard had set for Scientologists—to one day create Churches that were the physical embodiment of the Policy and Technology he had provided to help beings attain spiritual freedom.
