Some Thoughts on Scientology Training

Some Thoughts on Scientology Training 2017-10-24T05:14:05-07:00

I’m doing some training at the Church and thought folks might like to know what it’s like. Training is where we learn Scientology principles–in courses of various lengths–and where we learn to apply it to others and ourselves. Right now I’m on a fairly intense course on communication. I really didn’t expect to get as much out of it as I have already.

Before I started I was feeling a bit grumpy about people. Weeks into the course I found myself very interested in others. It’s helped me feel comfortable in my own skin at a level I’ve never experienced before. That’s powerful.

I was recently at a glitzy PR event running a red carpet. These things are usually somewhat madhouses as people are often coming together for the first time to pull off the event. (Think of a bunch of chickens with heads cut off dressed elegantly in black!) Though I’m used to it I used to find that certain things tended to fluster me during these events. But after weeks on my course on communication, I found that things were running like butter! I had almost no attention on myself and almost all of it was on others and on making things run smoothly. It was a big thing for me. And when I mentioned it to someone I work with regularly she had noticed a change.

I’m looking forward to much more on this course in the ensuing weeks.

Anyhow, thought you might like to know what Scientology really is and does.
