If you remember, I asked everyone to pray for Pam’s 2 year old son last week. He HAS been diagnosed with Leukemia but it is the ALL type which has a high cure rate. He has to endure one intensive month of chemo, though, and she asks for prayers. He also has had to undergo numerous transfusions and she says that the Blood Bank did not have enough of the blood they needed for him. Good reminder for those who can donate blood to do so, even if you hate needles like I do.
Please remember to donate blood. And please, please keep the Pilch family in your prayers. I can only imagine how helpless they feel as they watch their little child suffer from the chemo and the needle poking and the overall anxiety from being sick.
Also, I wrote her and told her a reader of VN offered her son up in prayer at Mass. She was deeply touched and appreciative of that.
