A question asked by Katie Couric to both Joe Biden and Sarah Palin.
Biden: “I think he’s done more harm than any other single elected official in memory in terms of shredding the constitution. You know — condoning torture. Pushing torture as a policy. This idea of a unitary executive. Meaning the Congress and the people have no power in a time of war. And the president controls everything.”
Palin: “Worst thing, I guess that would have been the duck hunting accident — where, you know, that was an accident. And I think that was made into a caricature of him. And that was kind of unfortunate.”
So, Palin thinks a hunting accident is more important than the intrinsically evil act of torture. And she is being touted as a pro-life candidate? Words fail me.
