My introduction

My introduction November 6, 2008

Dear Vox Nova readers,

I would like to introduce myself, and thank Michael for the invitation to join the Vox Nova crew. I first learned of this venture back when I used to blog myself and was an avid reader of Michael and Katerina’s Evangelical Catholicism blog. I took over a year off from the blogging to refocus on my spirituality, but I found myself itching to get back in the game over the course of current events.

I will try to be brief, as to not disrupt the good discussions taking place on the most recent posts. I am a lifelong Southern Californian in my mid-20s, who works in the publishing industry and is active in young adult groups in the region. I am discerning if I have a place in the public relations field at this point, or if God is calling me towards ministry work. I am not a convert, but like many, reverted to the faith after my high school years left me longing for a deeper and more meaningful relationship with Christ. I would identify myself as a pro-life Democrat and you may get a general sense of my political ideology from my first post on my new blog concerning the election of Senator Barack Obama. My contribution to Vox Nova will mostly center on Catholic culture, and the entertainment industry, in relation to our faith.
