University of Chicago Faculty and Students Consider Housing and Financial Crisis

University of Chicago Faculty and Students Consider Housing and Financial Crisis May 6, 2009

Here’s a link to a Dutch video that examines the housing and financial crisis in the United States through the discussions of philosophy and law faculty students at the University of Chicago (among them are two of the most prominent political and legal theorist in the world today, Martha Nussbaum and Brian Leiter).  From my view, it is a rather balanced look at things, and provides the sort of spirited, substantive discussion from several angles that tends to be absent from blogs and talk radio. Most of the video is in English.  It’s long, but well worth your time.

University of Chicago Law School, by the way, is considered to be one of the best places in the country for the study of law and economics.
