The Bible passage that can change your life.

The Bible passage that can change your life.

If you asked 100 people what the single-most important passage in the Bible is, you’d probably get 80 to 90 different answers. But I believe there’s a single passage that is so powerful—and so personifies the real teachings of Jesus—that it has the power to literally change your life.

It starts with Luke 17:20:

One day the Pharisees asked Jesus, “When will the Kingdom of God come?” Jesus replied, “The Kingdom of God can’t be detected by visible signs,”

It continues in Luke 17:21, and here’s the important part:

nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.”

Depending on the translation, you may see the end line written as “the kingdom of God is among you” or “the kingdom of God is in your midst”. Either way, its meaning is the same. The kingdom of God is not a faraway place, nor is it up in the heavens. It exists right here and now, within us and all around us.

What does it mean to live in the kingdom of God?

It means that all things in life are possible, because we have the ability to tap into an infinite source of wisdom and guidance at any given moment—a source that lives within our own souls. It is the God within and gives us a path to all we could want or need in this lifetime.

Find the God within and trust it is there, and you will discover that the things you seek are available to you. The answers to every day problems are revealed, sometimes instantaneously. Guidance for bigger life issues is offered through an ongoing internal dialog, by relying on God to work through your intuition to give you the direction you seek.

The knowledge that the kingdom of God in our midst means that we have the ability to enjoy heaven on this earth, during all our waking moments. It means that if our hearts are in the right place and our desires our true to the best interests of ourselves and those around us, we can enjoy lives of limitless fulfillment and bliss.
