Expand your sense of self through art and wonder. Achieve special states of awareness. Have a greater sense of self through losing yourself.
For me, there’s no better time to contemplate the world and my place in it than in the early morning. When the house is dark and quiet, with my family still sleeping, I sit for a few minutes in a comfortable chair with a warm cup of coffee, breathe, and just be. But sometimes you just need to break away from your normal hang-outs and literally go to “a world of wonder”. For you, this might be a walk in the park or alongside the ocean—or a long, slow trek around an art museum.
