True Christianity, Volume 2 (New Century Edition)

The Swedenborg Foundation Press will host a book launch and reception for Jonathan S. Rose, translator and series editor of True Christianity, Volume 2 [The New Century Edition] during the 2012 annual meeting of the American Academy of Religion to celebrate the release of the now-completed two-volume deluxe annotated translation.

Please join us at The Palmer House, 17 East Monroe Street, Chicago, IL 60603 for discussions and refreshments on Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 7-9 PM.  Translator/editor remarks will begin at 7:30 PM.

Translator and series editor Jonathan Rose will discuss "Appealing to Both the Left and the Right Brain."   For the left brain, Swedenborg's True Christianity has vigorous theological debate that takes issue with both Protestant and Catholic Christianity.  For the right brain, the work includes narrative accounts of Swedenborg's spiritual experiences.
